This journey would have never been possible without the love, wisdom, and unwavering encouragement of the people who have shaped my life and inspired my purpose. I dedicate my deepest gratitude to my mother Rabeya Khatun, legendary writer of Bangladesh, my lifelong mentor and guiding light whose values and strength continue to illuminate my path. I am equally indebted to my elder brother Faridur Reza Sagar, my sister’s Keka Ferdousi and Farhana Mahmud, whose constant belief in my dreams have been the spirit that carried me forward.

I have also been fortunate to be surrounded by remarkable individuals who continually inspire me to think beyond boundaries. My daughters, Kishoree and Auditiya, son-in-law Tasneef, and grandsons, Aydin and Ashar, remind me every day that the future we build must be worthy of the next generation. And finally, Nigar Reza, knowing her as a 19-year-old brilliant student transforming through various stages of life: from classmate, friend, ‘girlfriend’, architect, wife, daughter-in-law, public servant, mother, ‘teacher’, mother-in-law and finally, the best grandmother anyone can have! I am loving this ‘Nigar’ journey of transformation, makes our life interesting and meaningful - feels like, life is not static! Together, we have walked through changing seasons, watching the silver in our hair appear, holding hands as we climb life’s steeper paths, laughing at the same old jokes, and standing side by side through challenges, always lifting each other forward. Nigar has been performing so well in every role of this transformation process in guiding and nurturing our family into what it is today, and for this journey, for her love, and for the life we have built together, my heart is filled with gratitude - thank you, Nigar.
